My Reflection
In school my class went to the soccer clinic we played soccer games and at the end we put the balls back in the bag.
my favourite part was playing the games like shark attack and Indianans and cowboys.

Maths Hour Time Follow Up
My Reflection
I was learning to understand 24 hour time and write the time in numbers (digital) and words.
In this activity I had to try to read the 24 hour time and write it as a digital,words and write if it was PM or AM.
I think achieved this activity because I have written the digital the time words and PM or AM. My next steps in learning time are to try to understand more about time and to work on PM times.

My Persuasive Speech - Junk Food Should Be Banned
My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech. My success criteria were: - I have an introduction, conclusion, and three paragraphs each giving a reason to support my main argument - each of my paragraphs are at least three sentences long - I have researched and included facts to back up my argument - I speak loudly and clearly to my audience - my speech is between 2 and 3 minutes long I think I achieved my success criteria because I did research about facts to back up my speech,I speak loudly and clear to my audience.
Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on making my speech at least 2 or 3 minutes long. I think I did well at speaking clearly when I was saying my speech.

My reflection:
I was learning to read aloud with expression.
My success criteria were to:
- read with a loud, clear voice
- change my voice depending on the punctuation
- hold my book so that the audience can see and hear me clearly
I think I achieved my success criteria because I did read loud and clear,change my voice when I was speaking and hold my book in front of me so the audience could hear me.
Next time I do a reader's theatre performance I will work on speaking a little louder when I talk.
I think I did well at saying my words clearly and not to get nervous.

My Reflection WALT find and summarise information in nonfiction texts by skimming and scanning.
In this activity my task was to read the story and answer the question by skimming and scanning the story when I needed to answer the question.
My success criteria were:
- I check in relevant sections of the text, paying attention to diagrams and photos
- I read the first sentence and last sentence of paragraphs to quickly to work out the main idea I know that I was successful in this activity because I had answered the questions correctly by skimming and scamming the text.
My next step in my Reading is to give more detail to my writing.

My Reflection WALT link ideas (both implicit and explicit) in the text to give a greater understanding of the story. In this activity, my task was to read the story and answer the questions by skimming and scamming. My success criteria were: - I can find obvious (explicit) information in the text. - I can find hidden (implicit) information or clues in the text and use it to make inferences. I know that I was successful in this activity I had to read the story and then answer the questions by skimming and scamming. My next step in my Reading is to add more detail to my writing.
